Your name, pen name, email address, billing address, information relating to your enquiry, and technical details, such as IP address, may be collected – for example when you fill out the contact form to request a quote for a service.

- Any files relating to edits are stored on a password-protected laptop with fingerprint recognition. Files may be backed up to an external hard drive or to Dropbox (a file management system using the cloud) while an edit is in progress. Dropbox is registered with EU–US Privacy Shield.
- Payments made by PayPal will be covered under PayPal’s privacy policy. Data is used for tax and accounting purposes.
- Stripe is Eaves Editorial’s payment system for payments made using a credit or debit card, Google Pay, or Apple Pay. Stripe is part of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework – view their data processing agreement here. Stripe also have a privacy center. Data is used for tax and accounting purpose.
- Zoho Books is the accounting software used by Eaves Editorial. It is used to create and send invoices, store customer information and manage payments. Data is used for tax and accounting purposes. Zoho Books have a global privacy policy and a UK privacy policy.

- Data is not shared with third parties without express permission or unless required by law enforcement. In some exceptional situations (such as incapacitation or severe illness), a trusted individual may access Eaves Editorial’s business email and client list to contact clients about any changes to schedules as a result of this situation.
- Eaves Editorial does not lease, sell, or distribute any personal information unless required by law enforcement.
- Eaves Editorial uses appropriate technical and organisational methods so that data is kept safe. Any third-party providers used follow strict data protection standards.
WordPress and comments
When visitors leave comments on this site Eaves Editorial collects the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it.
